What is Reach?
REACH stands for Receiving Encouragement Among Compassionate Hearts derived from Jude 22, “and some have compassion making a difference.” REACH is the ladies ministry of Cedar Hills Baptist Church. Our goal is to please the Lord by encouraging, serving, and equipping those within our church body, within our community, and around the world.

September 7th-9th Chicago Area
This is a highlight of our year! Your cost covers encouraging sessions, retreat materials, two nights in a hotel, two meals a day, an activity each day, and transportation. We leave Thursday morning at 7:30 and return Saturday evening at 8:30. You will be refreshed and uplifted and have an absolute blast through the time you invest in this weekend.

November 24th following the morning service
The Sunday before Thanksgiving our entire church family enjoys a traditional Thanksgiving meal after the morning service. Following the meal, we have a testimony time where you can share blessings God has given you. It is a sweet time together praising the Lord for His goodness.

December 1st @ 1:00pm, for ladies/girls of all ages
This is a great way to kick of the Christmas season. A wonderful lunch is served and fun activities are enjoyed. Each guests brings six cookies that will be shared on the dessert table for the meal. For those wanting to participate in the cookie exchange, you bring however many cookies you want to exchange in increments of dozens. They do not need to be wrapped pretty and should be brought in a disposable container. Be sure they are packaged so that they aren’t broken and in pieces, though. You will go home with a variety of delicious cookies in whatever amount you brought to exchange - bring two dozen, go home with a variety two dozen. All ages enjoy this festive activity.

Bring a $5-$10 gift to exchange and an appetizer or dessert to share. This is always such a fun and festive evening.
Monthly REACH Schedule
We meet the 3rd Monday of most months at 6:30pm. A simple supper is enjoyed while we get updates from our missionaries, pray together, and hear an encouraging short devotion. It is a great way to get connected to our Cedar Hills ladies and our missionary wives. At these meetings we also plan whatever event may be approaching.

Ministry this group oversees: Hospitality – giving a welcome gift to any lady who visits CHBC, putting together a welcome basket for guest speakers, etc.
